Take Action, Go Practice

“Action is the foundational key to all success.”  – Pablo Picasso

All golfers expect great things for themselves.  Anytime that we hit a poor shot, we can blame several factors…a bad lie, the wind, a noise distracted you, the course conditions, the list goes on and on.  But what is truly the one reason we as golfers hit poor shots?

Ourselves!  That’s right.  You don’t want to hear it, but you are the one swinging the club, you control your own fate.  Well, at least the fate of the golf ball.   So why is it that so many golfers don’t put in the time, and due diligence to improve?

If you want to improve your golf game there is only one way to do it…PRACTICE!  I’m not saying that you need to stand on the driving range for hours each week.  But take time to actually practice.  The secret here is not quantity, but quality.  Don’t just go the driving range and quickly hit a bag of balls and call that practice.  Make sure that your time is spent working towards improvement.  Work on your alignment, work on your grip, or practice with a particular drill to correct a flaw in your swing.

You aren’t going to become a better golfer by just thinking you will become a better golfer.   You need to take action, put some effort into it, and you will see the results sooner than later.

Take action and practice, this is how you are going to Improve Your Game!
