2015 marks my 13th season at Phoenixville Country Club as PGA Professional. I am a graduate of Drexel University and a Class A PGA Member for 18 years. I have been teaching golf for over 20 years having learned the craft under the tutelage of my father, Peter Dever, a Lifetime Member of the PGA.  I recently completed Level 1 Certification in The Plane Truth of Golf teaching philosophy, developed by Jim Hardy and am excited to share my knowledge with all of my students.  My experiences in the golf industry range from expert club fitting (PING Club Fitter Since 1998) to working as sales manager for a men’s apparel line.  My commitment to growing the game is evident in the 500+ of junior golfers I have influenced through my Junior Golf Camp.

I believe that there is not a complete and absolute golf swing that can be copied by all students.  There are however, simple and basic fundamentals that can be taught and developed, through proper instruction, that will enable my students to make correct, repetitive impact.
