Personal Info

I am currently the Head Golf Professional at Acoaxet Club in Westport, MA which is also the town I grew up in.  I have been a PGA member since 2009, and have been instructing golf for 10 years.  I began playing the game at the age of 7, and began my competitive career at the age of 9.  I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Marketing at the Univeristy of Massachusetts where I also played for the university golf team.

I love teaching players of all abilities.  My teaching philosophy is based upon applying strong golf swing fundamentals to the student’s swing.   It is important for me to communicate in a clear, concise, and simple way.  I like to use visual and physical training aids to help the student grasp the key concepts of the lesson.  I use the V1 Software app on my Ipad to analyze video of the student’s swing when necessary.  This app also allows me to email the video to the student after the lesson for them to review along with notes we take immediately after a lesson.

Short game is a very important component of my teaching.  It should be incorporated in some fashion with every lesson.  Strong short game fundamentals as well as an effective practice routine are the quickest way to lower your scores.
