Is the lesson useful?

“Always desire to learn something useful.”  – Sophocles

Golf is a very popular sport.  There are several magazines covering all aspects of the game, radio stations that report on tournaments, and a television channel dedicated to golf 24/7, and yes, countless websites that are related to golf.  A person can truly become lost trying to keep up with everything.

What I find interesting when playing with different people, is how many of them are regularly changing their golf swing based on the latest magazine article.  They are trying tips, not necessarily knowing if it is even going to apply to their particular game.  I guess the theory is… if it’s on a magazine cover it has to be good.  True, but it just might not be good for you.

That is what Pinchaser strives to change.  The videos you are recommended are given to you based on a statistical analysis of your game.  We understand each player is unique; we all swing the club and play the game differently.   You need to make sure that any of the information that you are using to change or work on your golf game/swing is the right information for you.  My advice for everyone, besides using Pinchaser, is to step back and really think about how the lessons apply to you.   If you hit a draw or a hook, why would you ever try instruction ideas to correct a slice?

Remember, that anything you put into your game should be quality.  You will benefit more in the long run if your practice is quality and not just a waste of time.  Don’t just spend time hitting balls if you aren’t trying to accomplish a goal.  Don’t change your swing on a whim just because a magazine came in the mail.   Always keep your eyes and ears open, but just make sure that you are running all of the information you get about golf through a filter before you apply it to your game.  Your golf game will thank you!
