Personal Info

My passion is teaching the game of golf, all aspects of golf, to all who are enthusiastic or inquisitive about the game. I like to use a simple approach so that my students are self sufficient while on the golf course. I use video as it applies, Ernst 14 and all sorts of props that help students better visualize the concepts being introduced.

Experience

I have been teaching golf since 2000 prior to that I have taught tennis, skiing, competitive swimming and diving. My time at Incline Village Golf Courses gave me a great exposure to all levels of golfers.  At that time we were busy from sunrise to sunset, with junior camps, ladies clinics and individual men’s, ladies and junior private lessons. I was also the teaching pro and assistant coach for the three time girls state champions and for the boys team as well. I have been at Eagle Valley Golf Courses in Carson City since 2007 as the head professional and, as of 2010 director of instruction.
