During my career as Head Golf Professional in Wisconsin and North Carolina, my focus was to assist members wanting to make improvements to their games.  My approach was I personally met with each student to observe their swing.  Then I evaluated their strengths, weaknesses, physical limitations and started to explain an approach they could follow for improvement.  The fundamentals of the swing are basic, good grip, good stance and a swing that delivers the club head squarely to the gold ball at impact.  The strongest segment of instruction was an ability to improve the students consistancy off the tee.  People would say they slice, we focus on that solution.  Misdirection, we would focus to solve that problem.  Unable to hit the ball longer, we would address that problem.

Rates

When I meet a student, in the first session and after they have hit several shots ( usually 20 to 30 ) I offer a custom plan for that student.  Some might only need one or two lessons. if that is the case my rate is $50 per session.  Some might need a short series, in that case I determine how many sessions for the series and charge at the series rate of $25 per session.
