Personal Info

I am beginning my fourth season at Railside Golf Club in Byron Center, Michigan.  Prior to joining Railside, I was the PGA Head Professional at Macatawa Legends Golf & CC in Holland, Michigan.  I am married to Barbara and have three children, Barbie Anne, age 7, Grace, age 5 and Luke, age 3.  We reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  My hobbies include Spending time with my family,Michigan State University sports, music and movies.

My goal with each student is to maximize their enjoyment of the game of golf.  That can be measured differently by each student.  For some, that may mean simply making consistent contact and for others that may mean breaking 80.  I have had the great opportunity to teach students young and old, many new to the game while others are accomplished players.  I enjoy working with players of all skill levels to achieve what it is they ultimately desire from the game.

I enjoy playing with and watching high-level players play the game.  While we all cannot emulate their games, we can take small pieces and incorporate them into our own games.

I utilize an Ipad with V1 teaching software for most lessons.

I have over 10 years of instruction experience teaching over 150 lessons annually to mostly club members and their guests.

Rates

One Hour- $60.00

One Half Hour- $35.00

Nine Hole Playing Lesson- $100.00

Lesson packages are available and can be customized to fit the needs of the student.
