Personal Info

I grew up in Tennessee with a family of golfers.  My Grandfather Landis was a single digit player well into his seventies, and both of my grandmothers were popular members of their respective ladies’ leagues.

Golf was only a family and social sport I enjoyed until my mid-twenties when I decided to make a career of it.  I worked at Jack’s Golf Shop, an upscale golf store in West Nashville, and learned about equipment, repair, club fitting, and customer service.

In 1996 I moved to Colorado and became a merchandise buyer for Colorado Ski & Golf.  I used this opportunity to ski a lot!  In 1999, I spent the winter in Scottsdale, AZ and worked at a golf school located at McCormick Ranch Golf Course.  By playing every day after work, I got my game ready to successfully take the LPGA’s playing ability test and begin my education to become a golf instructor.

Since 2009 I have been a dual member of both the PGA and LPGA.  My teaching philosophy centers around the individual, their learning style, personal preferences, physical potential, fundamentals, and new ball flight laws.  I have experience working with students of all ages and abilities.

Experience

I have 13+ years experience teaching golfers of all abilities.  My golf professional career began in 1999 when I became a member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division.  I completed the LPGA National Education Program with a emphasis on teaching and participated in level one of the Managerial Leadership program. In 2009, I successfully completed reciprocity testing to become a Class A Member of the PGA.  I still retain LPGA Alumni status and am only one of forty one women in the country to be a member of both prestigious organizations.

One half hour private lesson:            $50

Series of four 1/2 hour lessons:        $190
